STAFF
Doug Crawford, Administrator

When I surrendered to full time Christian Service in 1985 little did I know that not
only myself but also Ruby, my wife, and Brandon and Kari, my children, would be
along beside me working in the Christian Camp and Conference ministry. This
proved to be a real blessing as we were able to work together forming a strong
family bond while our children were young. Brandon and Kari have grown and
gone to vocations of their own but Ruby is still actively helping in this ministry.

Our first experience began in 1987 at New Hope Baptist Camp near Holt,
Missouri, just north of Kansas City, Missouri. The move from our home in West
Texas to Missouri was quite a change but also an extraordinary blessing. Our
work began at Timberline in the fall of 1999 and also has been a great blessing.

I believe prior self-employment in the agriculture industry and medical laboratory
management seemed to have given me a lot of skills useful in this ministry.

Fishing and working on antique tractors are favorite hobbies with gun smithing,
shooting and hunting, being other interests, on the back burner for now.

Ruby and myself are members and involved at  Westwood Baptist Church in
Tyler as Sunday school class director, teacher and Wednesday night prison
ministry.
Ruby Crawford, Fillin' Station Coordinator

I reside on camp with my husband Doug and I coordinate the Fillin' Station (gift
shop/concession).  Hobbies include crafts, collecting buttons and reading.
Things that are important to me:  Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and
family--immediate, extended and church.
Keath, Kari, Evan, and Ezra Lattery, Bookkeeper and Guest Services

Keath is the bookkeeper and helps out with recreation.  Kari is the guest
services coordinator.  This family comes from the Houston, Texas area and are
enjoying the small town atmosphere. Timberline is special to them because they
were married here in 2003.   Evan is their 7 year old son and enjoys living at the
camp.
Ezra is two and loves to follow his big brother around.
Heidi Hays,  Food Service Director

Heidi was born and raised in North East Pennsylvania.  She started her food
industry career 21 years ago.  In 2010, she moved to East Texas with her
husband and 3 beautiful children; Hannah, Jared, and Olivia.

She lived in Georgia for 11 years and worked at the Georgia Baptist Conference
Center as a baker and trained under Chef Eric Meyhoefer.

Heidi has a passion for serving others and has a heart for missions.  She is
excited to share that with Timberline!
